ALRIGHTY GUYS! I've been patiently saving up my devart dollars, or rather as patiently as I can haha...and what for? CONTEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEST!

So here is the dilly yo! Greedy Centi wants art ahahaha. In fact nothing makes me happier than a gift art of my characters, but second best, is people drawing them for a contest.

I am also gonna give it a while to run...so you'll have loooots of time. And by lots of time I mean the deadline will be October 31st (coz its an easy to remember date)11:59 devart time.


Benefit to Entering sooner than later

ALL ENTRIES WILL BE FEATURED IN MY JOURNAL SIGNATURE FOR THE ENTIRE DURATION OF THE CONTEST! So the sooner you enter the sooner you get exposed

RULES
1. you have to draw one or more of the characters listed at the end of my journal. Any visual media is accepted, traditional, digital, cosplay, sculpture, b/w or color etc...have at it.

2. PLEASE keep colors and character basics when you draw them. I dont mean clothes, but hair colors, skin tones, etc...and hair lengths and cut. Feel free to redress them if you want...but I want it to still be them ne?

3. While I love pron as much as the next kid keep it tasteful! I'd like to be able to have all the entries on devart so nothing against devart rules. (hugging and kissing etc...is acceptable)

4. Credit me! Make sure you give me credit for my characters when you post it and place a character copyright on the deviation. If you dont know how to do this send me the image before you post it and I'll add it for you.

5. Send me a PM or a link here to your entry. I cant feature it if I cant see it

6. YOU MAY ENTER AS MANY TIMES AS YOU LIKE!!!!!

FIRST NEWS! I'm realllly close to having enough devart dollars to pay for a subscription...like 8 cents away so one more sale of any size should do it. When I do I'll be offerring a full fledged contest with a one year subscription and a full fledged commission as my prizes!!! (will also have runner up prizes) The contest will run quite some time (so that I can get caught up on all my other prizes, commissions and collabs) and will be a centi character fanart contest. Stay tuned I'll keep you posted. That said and out of the way...


I've been working on a few projects that cant be posted here for quite some time. As a result they've been eating my time and you can look forward to them in a couple months. XD I'm proud of them so I also look forward to the day I'm allowed to post them.

I'm almost done though guys! Freedom means I can get back to my to do list. Which means the commissions for the sketch book I need to send away, and a couple of sadly and I apologize for it, neglected commissions. Yes Dion I plan on working on mystique or utena for you next, and yes PenthesileiaRavyn I'll have your headshots SOON! YES I PLAN ON TALLYING THE VOTES ON MY CHARACTER DESIGN CONTEST!!!

Also wanna work on finishing my forsaken chibis and I have at least 2 big projects I REALLY wish to finish more than anything before Anime evolution. Ohhh *sighs* and one of them is a DOOZEY of a project but I'm hoping by the end of it will be my best work yet. WISH ME LUCK!

So busy busy centi apparently never gets a rest! After anime evolution I really AM free for a while though XD; I'm tired of being devart and artistically dead sooooo GANBARE CENTI! I'LL FIGHT ON and try to be more productive!

Honestly I just felt like advertising. is having a contest to draw things for his little brother. He's only five and has to go for surgery later this month so bombah is running a contest to draw things to cheer him up. This thought has been bothering me for quite some time.

A while ago I submitted a print on devart. The print was a picture of an ORIGINAL character who happened to resemble pikachu but not really at all haha. However they have a pikachu on their shirt. [link] There is a ref for those of you wondering what I'm talking about. Mind you it IS original artwork. I dont think I've ever seen deviantart reject a drawing of someone drinking a coca cola, or eating at burgar king or uh wearing a t shirt with a band name on it etc... But it was rejected from prints for being fanart.

The very next day I saw in the daily top prints section a photo of a princess serenity cosplay. Since then I have seen TONS of final fantasy and bleach cosplay etc...make it into prints with no problems or rejections. My question is this.

How is a photo of a cosplay different than fanart? I honestly dont get it? If one should be banned they really all should be...so please devi staff...enlighten me because I'd like to know.

UPDATES!: I know I've been pretty dead for about a month now and I am sorry about that. I'm currently working on stuff slowly but surely but I have a bit of a work overload here at home which isn't QUITE as bad now that acen is over but definitely includes 3 full cg's I can not let anyone see until after late August. I'll try to get those done and out of the way so I can get back on a regular arting schedule. In the mean time I'll give you all sneak peeks and previews of other stuff I am working on.
