FIRS THING I WANNA SAY IS THIS! Your art and designs will STILL belong to you! You are free to draw them. sell them, hell even use them in your own stories...though if you win I'd prefer they not end up in something published for fear people will consider my comics 'fanfics" Just thought I'd make that clear.

Uhm...hahahahaha well er...this is kind of a contest XDD See I'm trying DESPERATELY to convince myself to actually FINISH a comic one of these days u___u Damn me for being LAZY! So I thought what better motivation than a contest! Especially since I have a story in mind for it already XD; A short YAOI fairy tale. YES THIS IS A WARNING for those of you who totally dont wish to participate in something ghey!

We'll start with a basic synopsis of one of two stories XD; Because I would be delighted to make either and it gives you guys a chance to enter with any amount of characters.

Story 1: The Fae's Child: Intro + summary--
Long long ago there was a prince of utmost beauty. Prideful and arrogant he took delight in nothing so much as his own reflection. Not long after his fifteenth birthday he was presented with an incredible gift, a son of the fae, captured and tamed.

One would normally rejoice in such a gift, but not the prince. Threatened by the creatures beauty, would be admiration grew to hatred. "Hideous!" he cried, lashing out at the helpless boy. "Disgusting, horrid, putrid!" So cruel were his words but none like his actions. In a fit he sold the boy to the cruelest master he could find. But Forget he could not...

Years passed, the prince grew into a man, and that man had a son of his own. Finally, with passage of time...the slave he could never forget faded from his memory...or did he?

From an old man, to a storyteller...to a boy who grew, the story of the fae was passed down until one day it found its way into the pages of a bound book...and that book found its way to the child prince. years had passed...yet the story had not...fates hold is greater than that of man's will, and it had come back to haunt the king...

When the book reached his eyes the memory did not, but cruel twisted contorted anger did replace it. Fire filled his eyes as he decreed every copy be burned, the book be erased from existence...and as for the boy who wrote down such a fairy tale...he'd been promptly beheaded.

Such was the tale of a selfish king...but what of the Fae's child? Or the prince who curiously found himself bewildered by a fairy tale. That...is a different story all together.

Basically the story is more based around the relationship of the fae and the king's son...the fae's hate love relationship that comes from the son's resemblance to his father...

Officially designed so far
The Fae's child. Stubborn, and despite his position very prideful. Despite his feelings he is resolved to kill his master...

Character that needs to be designed By the time the story starts the prince is now king and the king is dead. I need a design for the king XDDD Its a fantasy story but other than that have fun with it. All I ask for you to keep in mind is he's a kind but firm man.


Story 2: The Servant Princess: summary--

No intro for this one, just a summary. In a rich kingdom long ago there was a haughty princess filled with dangerous pride and arrogance. One day she was given by her father to wed a prince of the poor neighboring kingdom...as it was the only way to avoid war. Feeling herself deserving of all the riches in the world, the princess refused to wed into such a poor kingdom, and halfway there she threatened her faithful servant to take her place and buy her some time in her escape. Terrified the servant at first refused, because he had something the prince would notice sooner or later no matter how pretty he was XD;;; But the princess gave him a choice...30 more seconds as a servant or a week longer as royalty...because either way he would die.

Given no other option he did as he was ordered, changing into her garments the princess was infuriated...as her servant was more beautiful a princess than she. Taking her dowry she set out to find a rich king to wed as he was shipped off to the castle. Bleh this summary is already too long so we'll end it here...u__u

characters that need to be designed

Prince 1: The eldest of the princes and the one the princess was betrothed to. He's generally pretty cold but no sooner does his "princess" arrive and she's sending him off on ungodly quests to earn his hand. This makes him irritable naturally as he didn't particularly wish to wed either but chose to do so to avoid war as his duty...and now he's being put to test by what he sees as a snobbish princess (who really is just trying to keep his neck and not be discovered as a male)

Prince 2: Much more energetic and friendly, the younger prince spends a lot of his time fascinated by the new princess whom his elder brother has labeled as snobby. But the side he sees is very different as the servant is unused to being served doesn't look down upon servants and isn't at all like a typical royal. He spends much of his time trying to cheer the "princess" up.

Princess: Not a big part in the story but an important one. Long story short...she's a total bitch XDDD; Pretty...but a bitch.


OKAY! Now that the character list is out of the way contest details!

---You can enter as many times as you want with as many character concepts you want. You can design one or all of the characters

---When entering make sure you explain which character you have designed. Its helpful if I know WHO you made XDD

---You can draw just your character or your character with their respective partner XD its up to you

---This comic when made will be free. It will NOT be published so no worries about me running off with your character design and making a fortune. However if I do full cgs of the two characters together I may wish to sell prints. So make it clear when entering whether that would upset you or not.

---all credit in every issue of the comic for your design will be given to you. In other words your name will be in the credits YAY

---You can only win with ONE character! In other words if you design 3 of the characters no more than one will be used in my comic

---I may not pick a winner for every character (especially since I think I'll start with only one of the two comics)! But there will definately be at least one winner.

---BE CREATIVE! Dont just copy my designs...try to compliment them, meaning something that wont look funny next to them but make it unique and yours <3 Otherwise where is there the fun?

---MOST IMPORTANT! While quality art is always loved , my decision will mostly be based on design itself...which will best translate into the story, is the most creative, suits the characters personality etc...SO YOU DONT HAVE TO BE AN AMAZING TO WIN! But like I said make it stand out, unique, special

DEADLINE SUPER EXTENSION! Seeing as how I have very few entries I'm extending the deadline to the end of april, judging will begin in early may! u___u *was hoping for more entries*
